

Ofelia (Fely) was born in Sta. Catalina, Lubao Pampanga, Philippines on March 7, 1944. She was the sixth child of ten to Fernando & Macaria Isip.
Growing up in the Philippines, Fely graduated from Guagua National College with a Bachelor’s in Education and taught Elementary Ed until she married and relocated to the United States. She married the love of her life “Victor” in May 1966. Together, they raised four loving children and supported the growth of an extended family. She dedicated 20 years as a Lab Technician with the Department of Agriculture.
Fely’s zest for life revolved around her large family and circular of friends. She found joy in simple pleasures spending time with grandchildren, gatherings, slot machines, scratch offs, facebook & Youtube scrolling, and music. She loved laughing, sharing stories and being sarcastically silly.
A strong, bold soul, Fely went through some obstacles in life but always came out on the other side. She fought her health challenges for many years with smiles, jokes, and optimism. She taught her children how to love to no end as they were all there for her & Victor. Many will be forever grateful for the life she provided and the lessons she taught. Fond memories will be forever cherished.
Fely is preceded by her husband, Victor married 58 years; Children: Stephanie & Jay, Victor & Erika, Steven & May, Des & Corey; Grandchildren: Jason, Marisa, Adriana, Joshua, Elaina, Stevie, Diego, & Isabelle.
Her legacy of love, kindness and joy will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed as her spirit will live on in our hearts. Those who knew Fely will miss her deeply, remembering her family devotion and attitude.
A visitation for Fely will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Hardage Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Christ the King Catholic Church, with Monsignor James Boddie Jr officiating. Christ the King is located at 742 Arlington Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 29, 2025 after mass, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225
