

Pacita L. Bantigue, age 84, of Jacksonville passed away on July 18, 2013. She was born May 18, 1929 in Bulacan, Philippines to Cornelio and Epifania Lopez. Pacita is preceded by her parents; husband Carlos Bantigue, sons Reynaldo Bantigue, Celso Bantigue, and Wilfredo Bantigue brother-in-law Salvador Aguilar. She is survived by her sons Richard Lopez (Alegria), Daughter-in-law Marina Bantigue, Reynaldo Bantigue (Evelyn), and Luis Bantigue (Susan) and daughters Petronia Encabo (Lope) and Emmie Carter (Karen), sister Emilia Aguilar (Salvador) ,grandchildren Anna Marie Lopez, Anna Liza Lopez-Paez (Patrick), Nelson Bantigue (Melanie), Maricel Bantigue, Christopher Carter (Stacey), Brittany Carter, Leah Bantigue, Joseph Bantigue, Nikki Bantigue, and Nica Bantigue and great-grandchild Lex Bantigue. Pacita enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping, visiting casinos, watching the Tampa Bay Rays on TV and being with family. She will be remembered for her love of family, kind heart, and determining spirit. Family will receive friends and family from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, July 22, 2013 at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32205. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday July 23, 2013 at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church located at 8523 Normandy Blvd., Jax FL 32221 . Interment will follow the funeral services at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd Jax., FL 32205.
