

Pamela Sue Yates, age 67, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on February 21, 2025. Her faith in the Lord was strong and it helped her through some difficult health-related issues. It's comforting to know that her faith provided strength during these challenging times, and her family finds peace in knowing her suffering has ended.
Born on June 11, 1957, Pamela was a devoted daughter, sister, friend, and advocate. She worked as a Judicial Assistant until her retirement in 2019. Pam was a complex woman, and for those who knew her best, she will be remembered for her advocacy for the underprivileged, giving a voice to those who had no voice, and her genuine care for those she loved.
Her thoughtful gestures, from handwritten notes to meaningful gifts, always expressed her appreciation for others and had a lasting impact on her family and friends. Holidays were a cherished time for Pam, where she took immense pride in the details of planning and decorating for each event. Whether it was crafting the perfect table setting or ensuring every guest felt welcome, Pam's thoughtfulness shone through in every aspect of the gatherings and celebrations she planned for family, friends, or colleagues.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Yates; father, John Yates; and brothers, David Yates and Lance Yates. A graveside memorial service will be held on February 26, 2025, at 11:00AM at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
