

Parks Johnson Stallings, Jr. went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2018. He was born in Hawaii on April 2, 1948 at Ewa Plantation where his father was stationed with the Marine Corps. He attended school in Corpus Christi, TX and graduated from Chamberlain High School in Tampa, FL in 1966. He then graduated from Lake City Jr. College in 1968 and completed his education at Florida State University.
His insurance career spanned 47 years. He was Vice President, Agency Department and Director of International Marketing, at Voyager Life Insurance Company and in 1982, formed his own company, EFSCO, with educators throughout Florida as his major market. In 1988, he joined Mass Mutual, continuing his career until December 2017. He achieved many awards, but his focus was always the welfare and respect for his clients. In his spare time, Parks was an avid golfer, supporter of Florida State University, drummer and adoring family man.
He is predeceased by his father, Parks Johnson Stallings, Sr. and mother, Gloria Glover Stallings. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha Faye Douberley Stallings; two daughters, Kimberly Dawn Sirdevan (Terry), Fleming Island, FL and Amy Michelle Gandy (Ben), Charleston, SC; and four grandchildren, Parker Leo Sirdevan and Olivia Grace Sirdevan, Fleming Island, FL and Katherine Michelle Gandy and Benjamin Hollis Gandy, Charleston, SC. He is also survived by his sister, Selwyn Stallings Wilson (Floyd), Malakoff, TX; brother, Charles Thomas Stallings (Brenda), Anderson, SC; sister-in-law Tena Douberley Kattau, Jacksonville, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeast Florida or Youth Crisis Center.
