

He Served his country honorably for 22 years in the United States Army where he retired and continued his career with the federal government as a certified tax advisor. During his service to the country, he was a vital asset in the Viet Nam war and subsequently influenced Army soldiers through personnel channels while closing his career as a dedicated Drill Sergeant.
Involved deeply in the Scouts of America, with passions in the open waters. He loved the joy of spending time with family through cooking, boating and his love of riding motorcycles.
Patrick was born in Santa Barbara, CA, graduated Santa Barbara High school and joined the service immediately following.
Patrick is survived by Patricia (Seidenstricker) O’Rourke, his children; Patrick (43), Joseph (41), Teresa (39), Phyliss (34) and Philip, 4 brothers; Robert, Timothy, Thomas and Shawn.
Memorial services to be held February 11th, 2PM Eastern 2013 at Hadage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd.N, Jacksonville. Fl. 32225. An honorary Catholic service will be held along with a military honors presentation.
