Patsy Ann Strickland

Patsy Ann Strickland, age 87, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on August 7, 2025. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 17, 1938, to H.E. Teague “Jack” and Mary Lou Durden Teague. She was a graduate of Paxon High School in 1956.

Patsy worked for Sue Pye Catering for many years doing weddings and later was a manager of Service Merchandise.

She loved to bowl, played in two Bunko groups and most of all shopping for expensive items at a bargain price. Her favorite thing to do was to be in charge and give orders.

Survived by her brother, Jack Teague (Bootsie); son, Jack Strickland (Cathy); daughter, Jill Mashburn; 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by father, Harrison Edward Teague; mother, Mary Lou Teague; brother, Robert Teague and daughter, Judy Strickland. She was formerly married to the late James W. Strickland “Jimmy” for over 30 years.

A visitation for Patsy will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Riverside Event Pavilion, 1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal will occur Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
