Paul H. Rudd, 96 of Orange Park passed away on September 28, 2013. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Rebecca Rudd, two brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 31 Years, Freeda Haltiwanger Rudd, sons Ronald Rudd and Rodney Rudd (Joan) ,daughter Paula Marshall, brother Elmer Rudd, sisters Viola Saari, Ida Rudd, Juanita Lewis, and Jo Ann Tomlinson, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Paul proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Second Ward on Blanding Blvd. He started working with the SeaBoard Railroad in 1936. In 1946 he worked at the Jax Terminal and then retiring in 1977 with over 40 years of dedicated service. He also enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader for many years. Paul will be remembered for his love of family and determining spirit. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax. FL 32205. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 10:00 at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax. FL 32205. President Nelson D. Harris to officiate the service.
