

Pearldean “Pearl” Aran, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away peacefully at home on November 17th, 2025 at age 69. Born on December 7th, 1955, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of Johnnie C. Torres Sr (deceased) a veteran of WWII and Rose Loke (Kau) Torres, who proudly raised six children. Pearl is survived by siblings Bernadette Sabagala and Johnnie Torres Jr. of Hawaii; Ramona “Mona” Kaholo of Indiana; and Kenneth Torres of Florida. She is preceded in death by her brother Edmund.
A Nanakuli High graduate, Pearl was active in cheerleading, student body, music, and loved summer camping with ohana. Her friends will remember her smile and joyful spirit which Pearl took into her life serving her community through the Navy Wives Club of America Jax #86- where she held several positions including President-and as a proud member of Bikers Against Child Abuse.
Pearl met the love of her life, Abel Aran Jr during their youth, and together they built a family she cherished above all else. A devoted homemaker, she poured her heart into caring for her ohana. She loved the beach, cooking, sewing, music, dancing, volunteering, watching wrestling, movies, and riding her motorcycle with Abel, her husband of 50 years.
Pearl is survived by her children: Angela Aran and Abel Aran III of Florida; and Alohalani Aran of Hawaii; four grandchildren: Yahdel Aran, Malia Kirschman, Keanu Kirschman, and Hadley Aran of Florida; and one step-grandson and two step-great-grandchildren in Kansas.
Pearl was a shining light- kind, giving, compassionate, and steadfast in her faith in God. She lived with a charitable heart and embodied unconditional love.
