

Peggy Dianne German (Dianne), a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 80. Known for her unwavering strength, nurturing spirit, and warm sense of humor, Dianne touched countless lives with her generosity, wisdom, and grace.
Born on November 26, 1944, in Sisseton, South Dakota, Dianne devoted her life to her family, her faith, and her community. A devoted Christian, she was actively involved in her church, where she found joy in worship, service, and fellowship. Her faith was not just spoken but lived—shining through in every act of love and kindness she offered to those around her.
Dianne is survived by her devoted husband, Carroll Wayne German (Bud); her children Sandra German-Vasquez, Mark German, Dawn German-Nackashi, and Franklin Joe German (Frankie); sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her strength, humor, and warmth in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Rachel Moyer, and her cherished son, Theodore Alfred German (Ted).
She was truly the heart of her family—a gentle, steadfast presence who celebrated every triumph, comforted every sorrow, and filled each day with laughter. Her home was a haven: always warm and welcoming, filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the sound of joyful conversation. Dianne opened her doors and her heart to friends, neighbors, and strangers alike, offering comfort, encouragement, and unconditional acceptance to all who entered her life.
Dianne was also an avid square dancer, finding immense joy in the friendships, laughter, and fun that each dance brought. Her zest for life was infectious, inspiring those around her to embrace every moment with gratitude and cheerfulness.
All who had the privilege to know her are invited to attend and honor her memory.
