Peggy attended Edward H. White High School. She received her high school diploma and attended training as a massage therapist, though her dream was cut short by an auto accident. She was a loving daughter and sister who had cared for her mother for many years. Peggy was outspoken, always speaking her mind, and you always knew where you stood with her. Near the end of her life, she became devoted to her salvation. She had a good and generous heart. Peggy loved the beach, amusement parks, puzzle books, coloring on her phone, and spending time with family.
She is predeceased by her father, Clarence Harper, and her brother, Clarence Wayne Harper. She is survived by her mother, Etheleen (Chaffin) Harper of the home, Debbie (and Jim) Hughes of Waynesville, NC; Sherrie (and Tommy) Padgett of Jacksonville, FL; Barbara (and Mark) Howard of Jacksonville, FL; Tommy Harper of Jacksonville, FL; and several nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hgriversidefuneralhome.com for the Harper family.
