Mr. Philip H. Wright III, age 74, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Santa Fe, TN, passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015. Mr. Wright was born in St. Petersburg, FL on September 18, 1940, son of the late Philip H. Wright II and the late Hester G. Wright.
Mr. Wright was a police officer for the Pinellas County Sheriffs Office and Vice President of Operations for Cain-Sloan. Mr. Wright was a great father, grandfather, photographer and artist. When he retired Mr. Wright spent his time enjoying many fishing trips with his son on his boat "Reel Time" and taking the opportunity to get back into his art.
Survivors include his daughter Lynleigh G. Wright and son Philip H. Wright IV (Tammie), 2 grandchildren Emilie and Philip V; his sister Janice (Jannie) Wright and brother Randall (Randy) Wright and many friends. His departure was way too early and he will be missed dearly.
A private service for final internment will be on Friday February 6, 2015.
A Celebration of Life reception will be held on Saturday February 7, 2015 at Hodges Blvd. Presbyterian Church from 2pm to 5pm. All are welcome to attend.
