Ralph L. Bowman, age 72, passed away Tuesday November 17, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born June 11, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia to Ralph H. and Gladys Christine (Spivey) Bowman. Ralph retired after 42 ½ years from Winn Dixie. He was history buff, enjoyed sketching and drawing in his younger years , and collecting coins. Mr. Bowman was predeceased by his Wife, Pamela M. Bowman and his Sister, Barbara J. Bowman. He will be missed dearly by his sons Fred Bowman (Jennifer), Kenny Bowman, and Paul Bowman; sisters Joan Benefield (Walter) and Carolyn Voles (Herman); grandson Christopher Paul Bowman; and a close family friend Carolann Dabbs. Family will receive friends and family 6:00 – 8: 00 pm Thursday November 19, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com . Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Friday November 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Riverside Memorial Park.
