Raymond M Dimsey “Ray”, 67, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away on June 30th, 2015. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday July 3rd, 2015 at Grace Community Church located at 10938 Hood Road South, Jacksonville, FL 32257. Pastor Justin McKitterick will be officiating. Raymond was born in Taunton, MA on July 29, 1947. He graduated from Cranston High School East and continued to receive an Associate Degree from Merced College. Raymond retired from civil service with the U.S. Navy after 26 years. He enjoyed ornamental iron work, fishing and politics. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Diane of 44 years, 3 daughters; Denise Yarbrough (Randall), Jennifer Monday (John), and Stephanie Fredrick (Ralph), his 95 year old father Harold M Dimsey , 2 brothers, Edward (Ann)and Victor, 8 grandchildren; Miranda, Conner, Ethan, Chloe, Nathan, Jade, Caleb, Rachel, nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Raymond is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Dimsey. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to VySTar Credit Union account number 7505377011.
