Richard E. Hoffman, age 62, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. Richard was born December 13, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to Richard I. and Irene (Meredith) Hoffman. He was a member of Evangel Temple and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Hoffman. Survivors include his loving wife Diane Hoffman; his mother Irene Woods; one daughter Brandy Hoffman; one step-son Robert Beard; one step-daughter Susan Beard-Vernava; one sister Peggy Arnold; two half sisters Charlene and Sandra Fontana- Trudeau; three grandchildren Shawn Smart , Kayla Smart, and Seth Beard; one great granddaughter Melody Smart. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 12, 2012 in Riverside Memorial Park.
