Going out on a party boat with his co-workers to fish or hanging out with Jeremy on his boat always put a pep in his step. He was employed by Champion Brands, Inc. since 1983 and called the CEO, Earl Benton and his son General Mgr., Jacob Benton his friends. Robert mad an impact on the lives of all that knew him even making a habit of paying for the groceries of strangers in line with him at the grocery store. Answering their thank you with a smile and God bless you.
He was a loving husband of 29 years; a role model for his sons and the blueprint to his daughters of what a man should be. He was a dedicated employee always being the Team Leader; a friend that could be relied on and who kept his word; and most of all: a man who loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with his whole mind, soul and strength. He will never be forgotten.
Although we will go on with our lives, you can bet that something Robert Buggs said or did to you or for you will pop up in your mind when you least expect it and it will make you smile.
God be with you all. Amen.
