Robert N. ”Bo” Matthew Sr., age 75, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. Robert was born December 19, 1936 in Jacksonville, Florida to Raymond and Margaret (Noel) Matthew. He was a member of the Hibernia Baptist Church and sang in the choir. Robert was a great cook, enjoyed writing poetry, loved to fish, and enjoyed spending many hours in the great outdoors. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Carolyn Matthew and his parents .Survivors include one son Robert N. Matthew Jr. (Debra); two daughters Jacki Lundie (Terry) and Ginger DiMaggio (Tony); two sisters Patricia Merrett and Joan Block; five grandchildren Matthew Coffelt, Alicia Tindle, Dixie Mansfield, Toni Zumbar, Jasmine DiMaggio: five great –grandchildren; two faithful dogs Bella and Bart. Family will receive family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2012 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32205. Funeral services will be Saturday November 24, 2012 11:00 am at Riverstone Community Church, 6800 West 5th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32254 with Pastors Scott Yirka and Rick Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow services in Riverside Memorial Park.
