

He was born August 26, 1930 in Coffee County Georgia to James and Minnie Raulerson. He grew up in Blackshear, GA and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1949. He was drafted into the US Marine Corps in September of 1951 where he served active duty until September 1953. He married his wife Terrelene Pope of Jacksonville on November 27, 1951. He was employed by National Container Corp. in Jacksonville and in 1957 became employed by St. Regis Paper Company and continued there until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed family, camping and traveling.
He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, his parents, four brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his children, Carole Allen and Larry (Dana) Raulerson of Jacksonville, FL and Cindy (Mike) Payne of Yulee, FL. Two sisters, Betty Rowland, Jacksonville, FL and Melvenie Collins Callahan, FL. Five Grandsons, Robert and Andrew Hall, Michael and Steven Payne, Daniel Raulerson, and one Granddaughter, Emily Fleming, 16 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 5th at 2:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL with Pastor Larry Collins officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
