Ronald Raymond Lyons

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Raymond Lyons, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2025, at the age of 84.

Ronald was born on April 6, 1941, in Ashland, Kentucky, and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where he spent the remaining years of his retired life. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Ronald served his country for 20 years, dedicating his life to duty and service with unwavering commitment. He was a devout Christian, deeply rooted in his faith, and lived his life as a testament to his love for Christ.

Ronald was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Felisa Lyons, and a cherished father to his adopted daughter, Renee Wilburn. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to his precious grandchildren, Christine Sena and Romeo Delos Reyes. He also enjoyed a close relationship with his son-in-law, Chandler Wilburn. Throughout his life, Ronald’s family was his greatest joy, and his legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A man of strong character, Ronald was known for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering faith. His devotion to the Lord was evident in everything he did, and he was a steadfast example of what it means to live with purpose and grace. His love for others, his sense of duty, and his gentle spirit touched many lives, and his memory will be cherished forever.

A memorial service to honor Ronald’s life will be held at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 19th at 12 PM. He is deeply missed and forever loved.
