

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ronald W. Wright, 64, of Jacksonville, FL, on April 23, 2026. A devoted family man and proud Navy veteran, Ron’s kindness and steady leadership touched everyone who knew him.
Born December 10, 1961, in Lewisburg, TN, he joined the U.S. Navy at 17 and served 22 years as an aircraft electrician, trained on the F/A-18 and qualified on six platforms. After retiring he supported the Navy for 20+ years at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, rising to GS-12 Production Support Supervisor.
He is survived by his wife Denise (née Beaudoin); daughters Jennifer Schwarz (Thomas Jr.), Leslie Cason (Kenny Jr.), Stephanie Cook (Roman), and adopted daughter Jaime Grijota (Ward); eight grandchildren: Jonathan, Skylar, Logan (Daisey), Simon, Thomas III “Tripp,” Julie, Zeluan, and Gabriel as well as two great-grandchildren: Kolton, Ashton; stepchildren Michael Machado and Dawn Candy (née Machado); sister Teresa Sweeney (Bobby), brother Jimmy Wright and nephew Justin Wright; niece Brittany Knight (Kendall), great-niece Robin and great-nephew Grant; stepmother Beulah Edmundson (John); first wife Adna Kio Wright (Zorilla); and extended family and friends.
Ron’s life was defined by love of family and faithful service to his country. He will be cremated and interred at the National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL. A Celebration of Life will be announced.
