Rosario “Rose” Pangilinan Bantigue, 81, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 3:00PM. Rose was born on November 16, 1941 to her mother, Concepcion Z. Pangilinan, and father, Miguel Pangilinan, in Tondo, Manila, Philippines.
She was a devoted wife, courageous mother, loving grandmother, adoring great-grandmother, and devout Catholic. On January 23, 1963, Rosario married U.S. Navy veteran husband, Julian San Antonio Bantigue, and had three sons (eldest to youngest): Julius P. Bantigue, Jimmy P. Bantigue, and Joseph P. Bantigue who later married to Rita D. Bantigue, Judith U. Bantigue, and Marissa J. Bantigue, respectively.
The unconditional love of her family and her strong Catholic faith was at the essence of her very being, which transcends through her eleven grandchildren: Jonathan M. Bantigue, Joshua U. Bantigue, Jeremiah D. Bantigue, Jeanelle U. Bantigue, Jasmine D. Bantigue, Jillian J. Bantigue, Jericho D. Bantigue, James J. Bantigue, Jason J. Bantigue, Jade J. Bantigue, and Jayden J. Bantigue; and her four great grandchildren: Ezekiel A. Bantigue, Joaquin A. Bantigue, Violet E. Bantigue, and Jenevieve A. Bantigue.
Our loving gratitude goes out to Rosarios’ extended Bantigue and Pangilinan family throughout the U.S. and Philippines, her honorary daughter and grandchildren, Godchildren, friends, and community.
