Rose Veronica Fazan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 91. Born on November 2, 1933, Rose lived a life filled with love, family, and quiet strength.
Rose was predeceased by her devoted husband, George Fazan, with whom she shared a long and loving marriage. She is survived by her two cherished children: son Jeffrey D. Fazan and his wife Scheryl Fazan, and daughter Patricia Fazan Schrader and her husband Charles E. Ackerman. She will also be deeply missed by her granddaughter, Amber Menzies, and her great-granddaughter, Evie Menzies, who brought immense joy to her later years.
Rose loved traveling to the southwest with her husband and made many friends along the way, her family and friends remember her as a loving and dedicated mother, wife and friend whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories of her unwavering love and gentle spirit.
A memorial service for Rose will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
