Ruby J. Forbes, 86, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 in Orange Park, FL. She was born November 3, 1928 to Elmer and Mamie Pyles in GA. Ruby loved to collect things and her favorite flower was the Black-Eyed Susan. She is preceded in death by one son Michael E. Forbes. Ruby is survived by her husband of 63 years Thomas, two sons Thomas C. Forbes, Hank E. Platt, one daughter-in-law Terri Stephens, 2 grandchildren, Hank Eugene Platt Jr. of Crawfordville, FL, Shannon L. McCallum of Crawfordville, FL, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A gathering will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:30pm at Riverside Memorial Park.
