Ruth Ann (Barnard) Allmon, 57, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on August 5, 2016 in Macclenny, FL. She was born on November 5, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL. Ruth worked for Walmart for many years, but retired due to medical problems. She loved to paint, crochet, make baby blankets, quilting, and made diaper cakes. Whenever there was a wedding, she arranged flowers, and loved decorating for the event.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband, of 35 years, James Allmon; mother, Mildred Register; 3 children, Susan Aldridge, Michael Aldridge (Starr), Nathan Aldridge (Jenny); her four-legged babies, Dolly, Mo-Joe, Roxy, Abby; 6 grandchildren, Anthony, Zachary, Tyler, Ariel, Dominic, and Hailey Aldridge; siblings, Irvin Barnard, Linda Kline, Mary (Barnard) Cason, Kenny Cason, Dennis “JR” Barnard, Wendy Barnard; brother-in-laws, Mike Allmon (Kathy), Jeff Allmon (Vickie), Ricky Allmon (Nancy), and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on August 10, 2016 from 6-8pm at Hardage-Giddens, Town & Country Funeral Home. Services will be August 11, 2016 at 1pm and interment will follow with Riverside Memorial Park.
