

He was educated at Rutgers University and graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Samuel and Jessie Ann Davis married on October 24, 1976. After 22 years of exceptional service in the United States Navy he retired and became the owner of various businesses, including One Meg Computer Source and The Cross Veteran Services. He loved traveling with world with his wife, fishing, and spending time with his family. Samuel enjoyed teaching and preaching, spreading the word and sharing God’s love with everyone, as Bishop in SK Richardson Ministries.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 46 years Jessie Richardson; brother Larry Richardson; sister Beverly Glover (Tony); brother Curtis Richardson (Nina); daughter Samantha Thompson (Joseph); daughter Vinnette Richardson; son Samuel “Sammy” Richardson (Lashima); daughter Marki Louis (Ajit); daughter Shrone Richardson Powers; and son Jaye Richardson (Stacy).
Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Naomi Richardson; brothers Ricky Richardson, Avron “Mush: Richardson, Ronald Richardson and Joseph “Joe Joe” Richardson.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205 with funeral services Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
