Sandra Marise Ellis

Sandra Marise Ellis, 85, of Glen St Mary, Florida went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2025. Sandra was born on October 5, 1939, in Baker, Florida and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Glen St Mary in 1999.

She was employed in the District Agencies Division of Prudential Insurance Company in Jacksonville, Florida where she retired after 34 years of service. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Sandra enjoyed tending to flowers, sewing, quilting, shopping, attending church, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents James C. and Ossie Barbee Ellis, brother Lawrence Leonard Ellis, and sister Mary Ann Aldridge.

She is survived by her sister Ginger Kraft of Starke, Florida: Niece, Kristiana (Dean) Starling of Callahan, Florida: Great nephew, Braxton W. (Laura) Starling of Callahan, Florida: Two great nieces, Breeanna R. (Samuel) Massingale of Glen St Mary, Florida and Bayleigh E. (Aubrey) King of Callahan, Florida: Great-great nephew Hayden D. Starling of Callahan, Florida: Three great-great nieces, Carlin R. Massingale of Glen St Mary, Florida, Hazel A. King of Callahan, Florida, and Emilia K. Starling of Callahan, Florida.

A remembrance service to honor the life of Ms. Ellis will be held at 12 P.M. Monday, June 30th at the Hardage Giddens Riverside funeral home with Rev. Dean Starling, Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida.
