Shanon M. O’Neill, 65, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Orange Park, FL. She was born September 28, 1953 to Richard and LuWayne O’Neill in Baltimore, MD. Shanon loved animals, especially horses. She was a free spirit and was always happy. In her younger years, Shanon hitchhiked across the country with her dog named “Bear”. She is preceded in death by her companion Roger Tyre and her parents Richard O’Neill and LuWayne O’Neill. Shanon is survived by her daughter Jennifer (James) Rhodes, 2 granddaughters, siblings Steve (Betty) O’Neill and Shawn (Timothy) Buckley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11:00am at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
