Sonya Elizabeth Saffa

Sonya Elizabeth Saffa passed away in her home in Jacksonville, Florida Friday, August 21, 2020. Sonya was born May 1, 1968 in Fredericktown, Missouri. Over the years she worked for Thomas Construction, Chauvin Coffee, and most recently Ace hardware where her spunky personality could light up a room and become friends with even strangers. Usually, getting her in trouble at work. While living in Florida, Sonya found her love for writing poems, the beach, her toes in the sand, boating, trying to fish, and collecting seashells.

Sonya is survived by her husband John Saffa of Jacksonville FL, her daughter Heather Nicole Williams of St Louis MO, a brother Robert James Moser and wife Suzanne Moser of Dyersburg TN, a sister Debbie Ann Moser of WI, five nephews, one niece, three great nephews and two great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Lee Moser Sr and Vivian Ruth Moser of Fredericktown MO and two brothers Robert Lee Moser Jr of San Antonio TX and Richard Scott Moser of Fredericktown MO.

After being in constant pain for the last 10 years, Sonya is finally at rest. In light of the situation with COVID-19, Sonya is being cremated and her family will inform everyone when they are having a end of life celebration in her hometown of Fredericktown, MO so we can reflect and remember all of the good memories. We love you, Sonya.
