Stanley M. Holiman, age 93, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on July 26, 2026. He was born in Brownsboro, TX, on October 27, 1932, to Reece Holiman and Eva Rash. He retired after 32 years of service to the United States Navy, and then retired from the Civil Service. He was a graduate of Brownsboro High School. He married Mable A. Holiman on February 29, 1996.
Stan was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of his service to his family, his service to the US Navy, and was a faithful Christian. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf and his church activities.
Stan is survived by his wife, Mable Holiman; son, Stephen Holiman (Sarinan); grandsons, Stephen Holiman and Sean Holiman (Jamie); granddaughter, Erin Holiman; great-granddaughters, Harper Holiman and Hadley Holiman; step-daughters, Elizabeth Weatherford and Christina Johnson; step-son, Michael Cannaday; step-granddaughters, Meagan Murphy and Chloe Johnson; and step-grandson, Matthew Weatherford.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Holiman; son, Stanley Holiman; and brother, Glen Holiman.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 12 pm at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32210, with a visitation beginning at 11:30 am. The burial will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
