The world lost an incredible and very special man who was so loving, caring, compassionate and kind. He retired from the US Postal Service on January 31, 2017, after 32 years of service. Numerous Postal Service accolades were given to him for outstanding projects he took on without hesitation.
Though his love of music, playing guitar, fishing, surfing and skiing, they paled in comparison to his love and adoration of his wife, Theresa Schmehl and their two children, Crystal Schmehl and Charles Schmehl. Their accomplishments were a medal of honor on his heart and his abundance of love for them was incredible.
He is now with all those he loved dearly and friends, who passed on before him, while leaving his immense family, relatives and friends in anguish, mourning his loss until we join him in Heaven.
It is with our whole hearts that we thank the incredible, angelic staff of Community Hospice & Palliative Care. There isn't a more caring, compassionate and kind staff who far exceeded our expectations in healthcare, service, moral and spiritual support. We could not have endured this tragic time without so many people caring for us as though we had been lifelong friends. They are heaven sent to be able to deal with ongoing emotional devastation, while nursing patients and providing care for the families and friends. May our Lord bless and protect each and every one of you.
