She was born in and grew up in Jacksonville, FL to Robert and Marian Griffin.
After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, Susan married Barry Wunder during the late summer of 1969.
Susan and Barry were married for 46 wonderful years. During her working life, she had various jobs as a
personal secretary to military officers and spent some time working in a nursery with small children,
which she enjoyed very much. One of the things Susan enjoyed doing was collecting antiques. She once held
the title of Toast Mistress of the Homestead Chapter of Florida. Susan loved her family very much.
She is survived by her husband Barry Wunder, her son Joshua Griffin Wunder, and her sister Cyble (Bob) Neff.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday January 9, 2016 at St. George Episcopal Church, 10560 Fort George Road, Fort George Island, FL 32226. A reception will follow the service at St. George Episcopal Church.
