In the early morning hours of November 28th, Tammy Babich lost her yearlong battle with cancer. She passed from this world and into the next in the comfort of her home and with her loving husband, Jess Babich, by her side, making sure her transition was as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Though the last year had been full of chemo treatments and Doctor's appointments, it was also full of love and comfort — spending her last days of strength celebrating Thanksgiving with her family. Tammy is best remembered as an energetic, feisty little thing- all 5'1 of her full of a passion for life that was infectious. She loved intensely, laughed loudly and danced in the kitchen in the mornings, sliding across the tile floor in fuzzy socks and with messy hair. She is survived by her parents: Raymond and Delaine Jones, her brothers: Carl Jones, Bobby Jones, Johnny Jones and Ray Jones, her sister: Candi Costigan, her husband: Jess Babich, her children: Christy Babich, Tommy Saavedra, Tracey Babich, Cathy Babich and her daughter-in-law, Desiree Saavedra, her grandchildren: Cameron Babich, Lukas Saavedra, Britney Rowin and Katie Babich and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loving family members. The truth about life is that our story never ends, not really. She will live on-in the love She taught her Family and the hope She gave her husband. She will live on through the memories in the hearts of her family and everyone who knew her. She will live on. Here's to living forever, Tammy. We love you.
