Tavis Marie Black, born to Joyce and Kenneth Gill on March 8, 1978, passed away December 10, 2016. She is survived by her son Shaun Isaac Black, daughter Izzabella Tola Black and her mother Joyce Gill. She attended Jacksonville Christian School and Massage Therapy College in Georgia. Tavis Marie started as a hostess in Smokey Bones Restaurants and worked her way up to management, traveling to set up new restaurants. She will be missed by her family and friends. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Dinsmore Community Cemetery, 7126 Civic Club Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32219 with Pastor Buddy Wimberly officiating.
