Terri earned an associate degree and devoted 37 years of faithful service as a secretary at NAS Jacksonville, Florida. Over the course of her career, she became a steady presence to those around her, retiring with the affectionate distinction of “Queen Bee” of FRECE.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Terri loved the Lord with all her heart and trusted Him completely. After medical issues began on February 24th, and from the first time she was diagnosed with cancer, her response remained constant: “God’s got this.” Through 25 years of illness, her faith never wavered. She faced her long battle with courage, and even in the hardest moments, she remained a source of encouragement—offering kindness, strength, and a smile to others no matter how she felt. Terri was a member of Shindler Drive Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
Terri is survived by her mother, Elsie Davis; her brother, Jeffrey Davis; her twin sister, Tonya Carr (Joe); her special friend, Steve Spinks; her nephews, Robert Carr (Hannah), Payson True, Ethan True (Rose), and Thomas True; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
