Thelma W. Boyette, age 90, passed away Sunday, September16, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Thelma was born February 15, 1922 in Live Oak, Florida to William and Martha (Hart) Ward. Thelma enjoyed reading, cooking, tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, and many hours of traveling. She was a member of Park Lane Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, eleven siblings. Survivors include one son Donald Boyette(Patricia); two daughters Marty Tomlinson and Kathy Cleary(Steven); seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends and family on Wednesday September 19, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Carney officiating. Interment will at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to be made in honor of Thelma to Community Hospice,4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
