

He was born at Fort Benning, Georgia and lived most of his life in Jacksonville, Florida.
Theodore served honorably and faithfully as a United States Marine for 20 years.
After retiring from the Marines, he joined and served the Army National Guard for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Attaway of 46 years; son; Theodore A. Attaway, Jr and his wife Michelle; daughter; Denise Renee Attaway; grandson; Theodore A. Attaway, III. Theodore has two brothers; Jimmy R. Attaway and Edward W. Hall, Jr.; his sister; Crystal S. Daniels and a nephew; Alex F. Gaumond III.
Theodore was a high energy person who loved the military and was highly patriotic. He loved his family, really enjoyed fishing and loved relaxing listening to music. After retiring from the military (twice), he worked in security and rose to the rank of Major with Wagon Hut/G-4S. As a security professional he was able to continue his work with veterans at the Veteran’s hospital and with law enforcement at the Court House.
The visitation will be Monday, January11 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd.; followed by the funeral service on Tuesday, January 12 at 11:30 am and the interment will be 12:30 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida.
