It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Rutkowske announces her passing after a brief illness, on Monday, August 20, 2018, at the age of 90. She will be forever in the hearts of her children, Sandra Kovir, Joseph and his wife Beverly Kovir, Michelle Rutkowske Gamble and her husband Kipp. She will always be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, JR and his wife Natalie, Jennifer and her husband Eric, Cindy and her husband Frank, Heather and Sabrina, 10 great-grandchildren, and a loving sister-in-law, Florine Timlin. Theresa will be forever remembered by her numerous nephews, nieces, and very dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Caterina Oliver and her brother, Silvio Oliver.
Theresa was born in Pittsburgh, PA, residing in Jacksonville, FL for 43 years. She worked a variety of jobs over the years, most recent was with O J Enterprises, until her retirement.
Her happiest times were with our family get-togethers. She also enjoyed crocheting many beautiful pieces that were loved by all. Her love of books, jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles will also be forever remembered.
In honor of her love for all animals, the family is requesting donations, if you so desire, to be sent to St. Francis Animal Hospital at 2727 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207 in her honor and memory.
A memorial mass will be celebrated in memory of Theresa on Wednesday, September 5th at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 435 1st Avenue North, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, with Father Valanarasu Irudayanathan as Celebrant.
