Timothy Patrick Lyons, age 49, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on February 5, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida to George A and Delores (Lish) Lyons. He was preceded in death by his mother Delores Lyons in 1982. Timothy enjoyed surfing, grilling, shark fishing, spending time outdoors, and especially spending time with his two daughters. He worked for the Local Union #234 as a plumber. Timothy is survived by his two daughters Brittany Delores Lyons and Baylee Lyons; father George A Lyons(Lorraine); loving girlfriend Michelle Wilkerson; three sisters Martha Jane Lyons, Kathryn Lyons Smyth, and Rebecca Greene Bryant; cousins Teresa Harris and JR Higginbotham; as well as many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews, step brothers, step sisters, and many friends. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Hardage-Giddens Beaches Chapel, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32250. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contribution be made in Timothy’s honor to American Cancer Society, 1430 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
