Velma Agnes Rountree Godfree, 69, passed away April 2, 2013. A lifelong resident of Jacksonville she was born January 17, 1944 to the late Helen Gloria and James Marion Rountree. She attended Paxson High School and retired after 37 years from Jacksonville Postal and Professional Credit Union.
Family members include her husband of 45 years, James Hugh Godfree, Jr., sons James Michael (Kristin Ebersol) Godfree and Mark Kevin (Raye-predeceased) Godfree, grandchildren Helen Leah and Mary Elizabeth Godfree, siblings Sandra (John) Shepherd , Jack (Kim) Rountree, Terry (Lisa) Rountree, Harry Rountree, Ricky (Elaine) Rountree, Teresa (Jody) James, Donald (Joan) Rountree, Mary (Tom) Berquist, Marion (Danny) McGrady, Catherine (Terry) Dial, Joy (Rocky) Graziano, Louise (Wayne) Spears, Johnny (Brenda) Rountree and Frank (Robin) Rountree, numerous nieces and nephews.
