Vicky PEACOCK, age 79, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Vicky was born August 21, 1942 in Savannah, Georgia to William Russell Peacock Sr. and Polly Slade Peacock who have both preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother William Russell Peacock Jr. and his wife Carlene; and one sister, Sara Gilmore of Savannah; Niece, Terri Painter, husband Darren Painter, Children, Travis Painter, Brandon Painter; Niece, Tanya Hoxie, husband Dave Hoxie, children, Chase Hoxie; nephew, Johnny Gilmore, children Daphney Gilmore, Katie Waters; nephew, Shane Peacock. Vicky was a member of the Baptist faith and also attended the Edgewood Church of Christ with her dear friend, Billie Bird Wages.
After moving to Jacksonville from her home in Savannah, she worked as a secretary with a winning personality at Anchor Hocking Glass Company until she retired. Her favorite post retirement enjoyment was buying and selling houses after living in and improving them.
Her close friend, Mary Frances Hazen, took care of her in her waning years. Billie and Mary both loved her dearly. God Bless.
