Victor Atkins

Victor is the son of the late Richard Victor Atkins Sr and Ola Irene.

Victor retired from The Florida Times Union after 38 years of service. He attended church at Woodland Acres Community Church.

Victor was preceded by death by his daughter Lynn Roland January 3rd 2006.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Lois Irene, two sisters Rubye Anne Day & Florence Graham (Robert), Brother-in-law Robin Willis, Sister-in-law Betty Atkins, Son Joel Atkins (Aisley) Daughter's Tasha Fincher (Daryl), Donna-Angie Bryant (Jason), Kinter Atkins (Stanford Carroll) Grandchildren Jacob, Matthew, Lyndsey, Mason, Mary, Troy, Emma & Rachael, One grand-child on the way Quinlynn and numerous Great Grand-children. A host of wonderful nieces & nephews.

Visitation will held Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Chapel Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery, 850 St Johns Bluff Road. N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 2:00 p.m. in Chapel Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery, 850 St Johns Bluff Road. N. Jacksonville, FL 32225. with interment to follow in the Chapel Hills Cemetery.
