Victor was employed by the Albany Diocese for a total of 47 years and never came across anyone who did not like him. He was well known for his quick thinking that would always come up with a joke that made you laugh. Victor was an avid reader of the Bible, history and the great literary classics. Victor was also a self-taught musician that enjoyed playing beautiful melodies on the harmonica, organ, piano and flute. In his retirement, Victor most enjoyed spending time on the front porch relaxing with family, occasionally sipping bourbon and puffing on a cigar while listening to classical and bluegrass music.
His family and friends will miss him dearly.
A memorial mass will be celebrated with family at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Jacksonville, Florida this Thursday, August 14th at 11:00 am. Those wishing to remember Victor may make a contribution in his name to Catholic Charities USA, care of the children.
