Victor Arnold Strada, passed away on August 25, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. Victor Strada graduated from Paxon High School in 1972 where he played cello and later bass in the orchestra. He also played guitar and loved to sing. He was affectionately known as Pops by his children and grandchildren. Victor loved the simple things in life like spending time with friends and family, cooking and enjoying the beach. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnaldo “Rusty” Joseph Strada; mother, Leta Alford Strada; and son, Daniel Victor Strada. Victor is survived by his 5 sisters, Janice Kittsmiller (Don) of Panama City, FL, Teresa Sims (Bill) of Rockford, IL, Joanne Stephens (Wayne) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Maria Koeppen of Chesapeake, VA,, and Patricia Bennett (Tim) of Naylor, GA; his 2 daughters, Carmen Strada and Laura Strada (Fausto) both of Jacksonville, FL; and his 8 grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 9 am. Funeral Services will begin at 10 am with burial to follow. All services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
