Vincent de Paul Denny Jr., 81, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born June 26, 1936 to Vincent and Amelia Denny in New York, NY. His favorite baseball team was the New York Yankees. Vinny trained racing pigeons and was a member of the Greater American Jacksonville Pigeon Club from 1960-2012. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Mary Frances Denny, children Cris Bolena, Dean Ison, Dana Freeman, grandchildren Tony Ison, Lindsay Bolena, Lauren Bolena, Danielle Budd, Jordan Bolena, Dylann Budd, great grandchildren Colin, Logan, Chloe, siblings Bob Denny, Larry Denny, Katherine Denny Siumano as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 1:30pm-2:30pm at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210. Funeral services to begin at 2:30pm with interment at Riverside Memorial Park at 4:00pm.
