Born December 10, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee Sedberry and Betty Elizabeth Sedberry.
Living simply was what Violet enjoyed most. Nothing made her happier than time with family and friends, playing cards or dice, and talking about the old days.
Violet is survived by her loving children: Albert Purvis, Betty Kerns, Lonnie Jacobs (Kim), and Marilyn Lindsey. Grandchildren: A.J. Purvis, Scott Lindsey, Ryan Lindsey (Jessi), Keegan Lindsey, and Dessirae Sturdivant. Great-grandchildren: Zaven Lindsey and Carson Lindsey. Siblings: John Sedberry, Linda Robirts (Darwin), and Jenny Sedberry.
Friends and family are invited to say a final goodbye to Violet at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205 on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m.
