Virginia was born August 10, 1924 to Algie
Ennis and Annie Clayton in Caswell County,
North Carolina.
Virginia was an active member of Calvin
Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crafts with
the Terry Parker Baptist Church ladies, the red
hat luncheons and she was an active associate
member of the Captain’s Club. Virginia loved to
cook and she made the best chocolate pie and
pineapple cake. The world was a better place
because of Mama Love; everyone that ever met
her loved her.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband
of 60 years, William Vermon Love. She is
survived by her brother, Robert George Clayton
(Sudie) and sister Nellie Clayton; daughter
Deborah Love-Suttles and her son William Dean
Love and favorite daughter-in-law Jackie;
granddaughter Courtney Willis (Chris) and
grandson Ethan Christopher all of Jacksonville, FL.
