Our condolences to you Trudy, and David on the loss of one of our favorite poker players.  It was always nice to have you and Walt around.  Our prayers for  the repose of his soul are being offered up daily.

When Walt and Trudy joined the Getaway Sams Camping Chapter we knew he was a special person and soon became a special friend.  We will remember him best for his wonderful stories and of course his famous Snickerdoodles.  We will miss him very much.

Sorry to hear about Walt's passing. He was such a good friend and companion when my Dad was sick and helped him when my Mother passed. We will never forget the times you were there for us and hope to be there now in your time of need. If there is anything we can do for you please don't hesitate to reach out.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Trudy and your family.  Walt was certainly a wonderful man who loved his family and friends - he will be sorely missed.  You might remember Dick always called him "Chief," as he  thought so highly of Walt.

I remember when Walter and Trudy joined the Getaways. They were very welcome of course but Walter cemented that welcome by bringing homemade Snickerdoodles to every weekend. A huge jar, more than enough for everyone. We will miss him terribly but have fond memories of a good man that we wouldn't have had if we hadn't been blessed to have him as a fellow member and friend. God bless.
