Funeral services for Mr. Walter Thomas will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 am, at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church 2503 Myrtle Ave. Jax, Fl. 32209, David A. Lattimore, Jr.-Pastor. He leaves memories to be cherished by wife, Louise Collier Thomas of 68 years, daughter Mary Speight (Stuart); two sisters Elizabeth Jennings, Wilhelmina Dumas; one brother Joseph Thomas of Pemberton, NJ; two brother in laws; Willie Frank Collier (Shirley), Thomas Collier and a host of loving nieces, nephews and great friends. There will be no cortege assembly. Family and friends please meet at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church at 10:30am the day of the Service. Mr. Walter Thomas will rest in the mortuary for visitation Wednesday, February 11, 2015 for the family from 5pm to 6pm and for the general public 6pm to 8pm. at Hardage-Gidden Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home.
