Wanda Joyce Lewis Johnson was born on July 7, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Margaret Lewis and Thomas Washington. She attended Duval County Public Schools and graduated from Stanton High School in 1972.
She entered the U.S. Army, completing a successful career of 24 years. After retiring, she established her own business, “Wanda’s Any and Everything.” She dedicated her life to family members, friends, and others.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted lifetime friend, John Amos; friends, Cynthia and Maurice Beverly, Desiree and Adam Sopenasky, La Tanya Adkins-Moulton (Bonus daughter); devoted cousins and friends, Sandra and Carl Williams; siblings, Amanda Shorter, Elaine Smithson, John Lewis (Annette), Armond Lewis, Patricia Lewis, Valareese Lewis. She also leaves an Uncle James Brown, and Aunt Annette Surrency, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jeanette Lewis, Ronald Lewis, and Marilyn Lewis.
