Wanda enjoyed bowling, going to church, playing cards, doing word searches, going through her family pictures daily, fishing, watching football with her family, and she was the biggest Elvis fan I knew. She graduated in 1965 at Paxon High School in Jacksonville Florida. She was loved by any and everyone she crossed.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Sidney Deese Sr. and Clora Ruth Deese; brother, Raymond Deese Jr; sisters, Judith Boone, Brenda Volker, and Nancy Fuller; son, Herbie Wilson; and nephew John Michael Henderson.
She is survived by her nephew Sidney Adams Sr; nieces, Christina Hawley(Mark), Kathy Barbauex, Merry Galloway(David), Rosie Webster, and Sonya Strickland(James).
Visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on November 22, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
A graveside service will follow at Riverside Memorial Park on November 22, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
