Former resident of Coal City, IL. He was retired from the Weatherware Manufacturing and Walt Disney World where he was a conductor on the train, a job he loved as he was a big train nut. Warren was the President of the Romeoville Jaycees and avid in scouting. He served as a Cub Master and Assistant Boy Scout Master. Warren loved to play golf and bowled when he was younger.
He is preceded in passing by his parents Hugh and Edna Ostrom, son Teddy Ostrom, his brother Wayne Ostrom, and father-in-law Walter Harjes, mother-in-law Elizabeth Harjes and son-in-law Raymond Matesevac.
Warren is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Ann Ostrom, son Warren L. Ostrom, Jr. (Linda), daughters: Tamara Runchey (John) and Colleen Ostrom (Donna Bennett), grandchildren: Warren Ostrom, III (fiancé, Shena Carter, Elizabeth Blankenship (Josh), Jillian Foster (Ricky Roberts), Jake Watts (Lauren), Justin Watts (fiancé Charlie), Jessica Runchey and Sarah Runchey, great-grandchildren: Levi Blankenship, Halie, Kyle and Nathan Foster, Aubrey, Riley, Cailey and Jake, Jr. Watts, and Lilly Johnson, brother Walter Ostrom (Betty) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, good buddy “Gaby” and many friends.
